The SAIL thematic network is co-ordinated by Advantage West Midlands and Coventry University Enterprises Ltd, based in the United Kingdom.
The network also involves thirteen other member regions who are the main actors involved in the network. Members take part in the placements and study tours offered by the network to share knowledge and disseminate expertise and best practice. The members of the network are all major players in innovation within their regions and also have both knowledge and enthusiasm in the area of academic and industrial collaboration.
