The SAIL Senior Level Bilateral Secondment from Iceland to South East Ireland was undertaken by two delegates from the Business and Regional Development Centre of East Iceland for the period of 1-8 April 2003.
Meetings included the South East Regional Authority, Waterford Institute of Technology, Carlow Institute of Technology, Tipperary Institute, South East Business Innovation Centre, South East Tourism, and local SMEs.
The return visit to Iceland from South East Ireland took place 15th-22nd June 2003 undertaken by two delegates from the South East Ireland Regional Authority. Meetings included the Ministries of Industry and Comerce, The Asscoiation of Local Authorities in Iceland, the Prime Minister's Office, the Directorate of Labour, the Institute for Regional Research, East Iceland Educational Network, the Cultural Council of East Iceland and the Icelandic Forest Service.
